SkeleSlayer — Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how XRchitectStudios ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the VR game SkeleSlayer ("the App"). This policy applies to all users worldwide.
SkeleSlayer is intended for users aged 13 years and older. If you are under 13, you are not permitted to use this App.
1. Information we collect
SkeleSlayer does not collect, transmit, or store personal data on external servers. The following data is processed locally on your device only:
- Gameplay progress and scores (stored locally on-device)
- Settings and preferences you configure within the App (stored locally on-device)
- Controller input and motion data used solely to operate gameplay and provide users with analytics.
We utilize the following feature data from your Meta User Account: User ID, user profile, and in-app purchases and/or downloadable content, which allows us to provide the purchase of additional in-app content - currently in the form of a statistics package that allows users to view their game metrics plotted over time. Data is not stored and used for marketing, profiling, or other purposes.
We do not collect your name, email address, location, or payment information. We do not independently collect PII beyond what is provided through your Meta account for in-app purchase functionality.
Please note that the Meta Quest platform may independently collect device-level data (such as device identifiers and usage analytics) in accordance with Meta's Privacy Policy. We do not control or have access to any data Meta collects at the platform level.
2. How we use and process your data
All data listed above is processed exclusively on your local device for the following purposes:
- Saving and restoring your gameplay progress between sessions.
- Gathering gameplay stats, including the date, score, number of skeleton killed, and time survived.
- Applying your in-app settings and preferences and in-app purchases.
- Rendering gameplay in response to your controller inputs.
We do not sell, share, transmit, or disclose any user data to third parties. No data is sent to our servers or any third-party service.
3. Data retention
Locally stored gameplay data (scores and settings) is retained on your device until you uninstall the App or clear its local storage through your headset's system settings. We do not retain any data on our end.
4. How to request data deletion
You can delete all data associated with SkeleSlayer at any time, regardless of your region, at no cost, and without providing a reason. To do so:
- Uninstall SkeleSlayer from your headset. This removes all locally stored game data.
5. Children's privacy
SkeleSlayer is not directed at children under 13 and is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly permit users under 13 to access the App. Access is restricted at the platform level through Meta's age verification system. 6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
